Installation Instructions

Follow these steps for an easy installation of your new silicone gasket.

  1. Test and make sure your PCB is working properly before doing any modifications.
  2. After you have installed your PCB modifications and your stabilizers (if using PCB mounted screw in stabs) place the silicone gasket on top of the PCB.
  3. Maneuver the soft silicone gasket to make sure none of the screw hole mounts are covered by the gasket. (Make additional cuts* in the gasket if necessary if your PCB/case requires more screws)
  4. Check the rest of the gasket to make sure none of the soldering holes or switch sockets are covered.

  5. Place your keyboard plate on top of the PCB and gasket and make any other small adjustments needed by hand.

  6. Start installing your switches as you normally would and enjoy the silicone gasket experience.

*Use either a craft knife (chisel craft blades are our preferred choice) or detail scissors to make minor adjustments in the gaskets when needed. Be sure to place something underneath the gasket to prevent any unwanted damage to the surface you cut on.
