Frequently Asked Questions

What makes these gaskets different from others?

Our gaskets are a special blend of silicone that offer a once limited option more widely available to the mass market. Silicone is not only heavier than PVC and neoprene foam, but also offers better sound damping and cushioning, resulting in a more muted sound often described as deeper or more thocky sounding.

Will there be future gasket sizes available?

Yes! We have future plans to improve and expand our gasket offerings.

Will you make gaskets for preorder/GB keyboards?

Yes! We have plans to make a silicone gasket for the Glorious GMMK Pro and if there is enough community feedback, there will be plans on creating custom gaskets for popular cases.

The gasket doesn’t fit my keyboard exactly how do I make adjustments?

While our gaskets are designed to fit as many keyboards as possible, we understand that some won't be covered. When we trim our gaskets, we use craft hobby knives and for making straight cuts we like to use the chisel blade.

What is a group buy?

A group buy is like a preorder that runs for only a certain time period and once that time period is up all the orders will be packaged and shipped out.

Why are there are small bits of silicone on the gasket?

Since the gaskets are hand poured and hand trimmed, some small bits of silicone may be left on the gasket after demolding and trimming but will not hinder the main function of the gaskets.

If every small bit of silicone was cleaned up the cost of the product would have to go up significantly and we would like to offer a premium material at a budget friendly price.

Why is the gasket slightly thicker in one area?

There will be very marginal differences between every gaskets since everything is done by hand, but each gasket is precisely inspected multiple times to insure  quality. The soft rated silicone that we use compresses very easily, not only for superior sound damping but also serves to alleviate the small differences between each gasket once installed.
